Appearing sometime between 2020 and 2022 (and best seen in 2026), the
scar looks to be one to two inches long. It could be due to accidental
trauma, but its linearity and its clean healing suggests a surgical scar.
That raises the question: what type of surgery?
My initial thought centered on repairing a torn distal biceps tendon
(which would fit with the amyloidosis hypothesis), but the scar is
too distal, too lateral, and misoriented.
Correction of radial tunnel syndrome would leave a scar in approximately this location,
but the usual surgical approach leaves a longitudinal scar, not a transverse scar.
This would otherwise be an
attractive hypothesis because radial tunnel syndrome would explain the difficulties shown
in several videos from 2017-2020 when Trump attempted to raise a drinking glass
to his lips.
If someone has a specific idea, I would like to hear it. But for now, excision
of a skin cancer or some other skin lesion seems most likely, especially in light
of his history of actinic keratosis

It is interesting that
the 2020 image below shows a large darkly pigmented lesion more distally on the
right forearm not seen later.

2020 and 2022
These images show the scar was absent in 2020 and present in 2022.
